Common Questions
FAQ
Everything you need to know about SAIRC, submissions, and the review process.
What is SAIRC?
The Student AI Research Collective (SAIRC) is a free, student-run platform where anyone interested in AI/ML research can share their work and collaborate with others. We also maintain discussion forums and a growing collection of resources.
Is SAIRC free to use?
Yes, SAIRC is 100% free. There are, and will never be any submission fees, membership fees, or costs of any kind. We seek to promote accessible, low-cost ways to pursue AI research.
Who can submit research?
Anyone conducting original AI/ML research or a literature review is welcome to submit. We especially encourage high school students and independent researchers. Academic connections or institutional affiliations aren’t required.
What topics can I submit research on?
We accept projects from any topic within AI or Machine Learning, including deep learning, NLP, and computer vision. For an exhaustive list, see the submission page.
What does the review process look like? Who reviews the submissions?
Submissions are reviewed by students for basic academic integrity, rigor, and to prevent plagiarism. SAIRC is not a professional journal with a formal peer-review process, and thus, only basic feedback will be given. This feedback will be disclosed only to the submitting authors for future reference, and should be taken as an opinion.
